About Me

When I was nine years old my parents gave me my first journal. I loved filling the pages with stories, poems, thoughts and feelings. Words were these masterful building blocks from which I could construct new ideas and new worlds. I have since filled many journals, but I never shared my words with others. 

 In 2018 I took a leap of faith and after taking a small business class led by author Ben Hodson and encouraged by the other members of our group, I took the steps to put myself out there. I had written many books over the years, including magical epic fantasies, Tolkienesque worlds, historical novels, and even a very weighty book on Racism, a subject that I have felt very driven to pursue for the past twenty years. 

I welcome each of you as contributors and members of this community.  I hope you will be active participants here. There are plenty of ways that you can become more involved, and I will do my best to help you feel involved. Having spent years working as an international community manager I hope that you will feel at home here, and know that your role is a welcome part of broadening my perspective. Please remember to share thoughts objectively with consideration for everyone present, remembering that any thought can be shared in a kind or cruel way. I ask that you find a way to share your thoughts and perspectives couched in kindness even when they conflict with others so that everyone will feel valued and respected as honored members of this community. Your encouragement and honesty are valued here, and I hope that everyone will contribute to a safe sharing environment.

As a part of this community, you will gain insights into upcoming publications and be able to contribute experiences, stories and ideas that will ultimately shape the ideas of others. Writers are a powerful force in the world, and I invite each of you to join me as we sculpt a world of inspiration, adventure and excitement to elevate the human experience.
